Indian cinema has lost one of its most iconic and beloved stars. Dharmendra Kewal Krishan Deol, fondly known as Dharmendra, passed away on 24 November 2025 at the age of 89. Born on 8 December 1935, he rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most celebrated and admired actors in the history of Hindi cinema.

Often hailed as Bollywood’s “He-Man,” Dharmendra built a remarkable career spanning over six decades.
