Filmmaker Karan Johar has paid an emotional tribute to veteran Bollywood icon Dharmendra, who passed away at the age of 89, leaving behind a golden legacy of cinema. Sharing his grief on social media, Johar wrote, “The heavens are blessed today,” expressing not just sorrow but deep admiration for the legendary actor who defined generations of Hindi film storytelling.

Johar, who worked closely with Dharmendra in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, recalled the actor’s warmth, humility, magnetic screen presence, and ability to make everyone around him feel valued. He described Dharmendra as a “pure soul” whose charm and kindness extended far beyond the camera.
